In Progress (IP) courses are incomplete courses that are in the process of being completed. Unlike Pending (PD) courses, In Progress courses do appear on the transcript when it gets printed. They are meant to be visible to colleges. Use the Pending (PD) course status if you don't want an incomplete course to be visible to colleges.
