Some colleges want to see courses and grades completed outside high school. It's easy to add a new course year option for the 8th grade to your transcript. Log in to your account and select the transcript to which you want to add 8th grade courses.
Click on the "Settings" tab above the transcript. This will open an area where you can customize your transcript. Scroll down until you see "School Years."
Click "add year" and type in a name and number for the new school year (for example, "8th Grade" and the number "8"). Select a year range that corresponds to the school year and click the Update Years button.
Returning to your transcript, when you add a new course you'll see the new "8th Grade" year option in the drop-down. Courses added for this year will be grouped together on the transcript.
